Treasury is the institution's operational layer for cash management and bank relations. Branch and central cash desks, bank accounts, receipts and payments, fund transfers between cash desks, petty cash and the full cheque cycle (from chequebook to collection or return) are managed in a single system.
This service has no separate financial core of its own. Every operation, from a simple cash receipt to issuing a cheque, immediately posts a balanced accounting voucher in the central accounting system and always reads the balance from there. No balance is stored in Treasury, so a discrepancy between Treasury and accounting cannot exist by design.
The cheque module, which is the heaviest part of daily treasury work in Iran, is fully implemented: from defining chequebooks and automatically generating leaves to a dedicated print designer that prints the amount, date and text of the cheque with millimeter precision on the bank's physical sheet. Bank reconciliation is based on importing the bank statement and automatic matching, with no need for a live bank connection.
The voucher posting architecture is designed so that no operation is left half-finished. If the connection to the accounting system is temporarily lost, the voucher is sent again later, automatically and without duplication. This design was reviewed in three separate business and technical audits and approved for production.
Key capabilities
Hierarchical cash desk structure
Teller, branch cash desk, branch vault and central vault, with the ability to carry funds between levels and automatic posting of the related voucher.
Receipts and payments
Cash or transfer receipts and payments, with an automatic balanced accounting voucher for every transaction.
Company bank accounts
Management of multiple accounts at multiple banks, with an official, up-to-date list of the country's banks.
Chequebooks and issued cheques
Defining chequebooks, automatic generation of leaves, and issuing cheques with a full status cycle (issued, delivered, cleared, returned, voided, lost).
Cheque print designer
A drag-and-drop designer for the exact position of the amount, date and text on the physical sheet, with millimeter calibration and a record of print history.
Received cheques
Tracking from the moment of receipt through collection in progress, final collection, return, or endorsement to a third party.
Petty cash
Allocation, top-up, expense recording and settlement, with a balance that is always computed from approved transactions rather than kept as a stored number.
Bank reconciliation
Importing the bank statement, automatic matching by amount and date, manual matching for the remaining items, and an automatic adjusting voucher for any fee or profit discovered.
Liquidity dashboard
An aggregate view of cash desk and bank account balances for daily decisions.
Cheque issuance for other services
When another service (such as Corporate Banking) selects payment by cheque, Treasury issues the cheque and posts its voucher, with no manual intervention.
Business value
Without a centralized tool, cash desk and cheque management usually stays scattered across Excel and manual worksheets, and human error in recording and tracking cheques is high. This service creates a single point for cash desks, banks and cheques and connects every operation to accounting at that moment. The result is a balance that always agrees with the Financial Core, reliable tracking of the status of each cheque, and faster bank reconciliation at the end of each month.
What sets it apart
- The balance is never stored independently. It is always read from the Financial Core, so it can never drift apart from accounting.
- A dedicated cheque print designer with millimeter calibration, in place of dependence on the bank's pre-printed form.
- A recoverable voucher posting architecture that leaves no operation half-finished, approved for production after three independent audits.
- The list of banks and bank accounts is maintained centrally and the platform's other services read the same identity, with no parallel, inconsistent data.
