Dara is a software company that builds infrastructure for banking and for Qard al-Hasan (interest-free loan) funds. Our software engineers and product specialists work side by side on the problems that come up in the daily work of branches, credit departments and finance teams.
What we build
The Dara platform consists of deposit, financing, credit card, wallet and treasury modules, together with the modules that support them. All of them run on a single Financial Core: none keeps its own balance, and every financial effect is posted to that core as a voucher. Processes, from a loan application through to committee approval, run on an engine that stores each process graph as versioned data.
Islamic contracts, the Solar Hijri calendar and Central Bank of Iran regulations have been part of the product design from the start. Each of the fifteen Islamic contracts has its own calculator, and installment schedules are built around a fixed day of the Solar Hijri month.
How we work
Every Dara service follows the same pattern: the layered structure, the response format and the way vouchers are posted are identical across all of them. That uniformity lets us add new modules with confidence, and it makes the code easier for the team to maintain.
On every project, we do not go live until the migrated balances and cases have been reconciled against the legacy system. We are just as direct about where the product stands, and if a capability is not ready yet, we say so.
