Holdings & Enterprises

Holding companies and large organizations often have several companies with separate accounts, and alongside them a fund for employee loans, a treasury for managing liquidity and a portfolio of investments. Dara is multi-company: each company has its own chart of accounts, fiscal periods and users, and their data is kept separate, yet group management can see the full picture as far as its permissions allow.

Challenges we hear about

  1. 01

    Several companies, several systems

Each company in the group runs its own financial software, and putting together a consolidated view takes manual work.

  2. 02

    Employee loan fund

The employee fund is usually run on spreadsheets, and its loan queue and installments are not transparent.

  3. 03

    Investments against the bylaws

There is no clear view of how far each investment is from the limit set in the bylaws.

How Dara responds

  1. 01

    A multi-company Financial Core

Each company's data is kept separate and each company has its own access catalog, while cross-company comparison is available within the limits of a user's permissions.

  2. 02

Employee fund with scoring and Solar Hijri installments

Employee deposits, scores, loan limits and installment schedules sit in the same system that keeps the fund's accounts.

  3. 03

    Treasury and investment portfolio

Cash positions from the teller counter to the central vault, cheques and petty cash, and every investment shown next to its limit under the bylaws.
